For the Love of the Bump | Minneapolis Maternity Photographer

Its no secret that I love baby bellies. Maternity portraits are an incredible opportunity to play with light, shadow, shape, and emotion in images. But even more than that, I am just so constantly amazed at the female body's ability to carry a growing baby and at these women who are about to become mothers for the first, second, third time. It is exciting, awe inspiring, and so very very beautiful.

Ya'Niyah

There are adorable babies and there are gorgeous babies. Ya'Niyah is GORGEOUS.  She is 6 months old, which is an absolutely delicious age to be as they are still such babies, but are really starting to "do stuff" (rolling over, sitting up, crawling, cooing, etc.). Ya'Niyah was a delight to photograph for both of these reasons, in addition to the fact that she has perfectly squeezable thighs and amazingly beautiful eyelashes. Thanks to Shannon and Jaque for the opportunity to photograph her!

Ilya Khan

I met Ilya and Alison at a "Photographing your Baby" class at Amma Parenting Center and was lucky enough to have the opportunity shortly thereafter to photograph them. Wink Workshop at Blooma

There has been a severe lack of posts and activity from Wink Photography since I had my daughter in mid-June, but WE'RE BACK! We've got some exciting stuff coming up, starting with teaching another "Photographing your baby" class. This time, we'll be teaching at Blooma, an amazing yoga, wellness, and education center for parents and families. We couldn't be more excited to work with them.
