What grandparent doesn't want all their grandchildren photographed together? It can definitely be a challenge to organize getting everyone in the same place, at the same time, and all in good moods, but when it happens it's magic! I was so proud of all our little munchkins. They were all extremely cooperative and it makes me so happy that we were able to provide these images for my parents, who are really some of the most involved, supportive grandparents I could imagine. The In-Between Moment | Minneapolis Child Photographer

When photographing, remember to pause for the in-between moments - when they don't expect or realize you are going to take a picture. It is in these moments that you will often capture the most genuine expressions and emotions.


This image is one of my all-time favorites, partially because it is of my niece who I love dearly and partially because of the expression that was captured. She was actually making a series of goofy faces at me and my camera, but I snapped this photo in between those silly expressions, when she paused to think of what to do next.
